Frequently asked questions

How do I change my username?

Go to Dashboard → Profile → scroll down to the Username section. Type your new username — availability is checked live as you type. Save to apply the change. Your old URL will stop working immediately.

Can I have more than one profile?

Each Profiley account has one public profile. If you need separate profiles for different purposes, you'll need separate accounts with different email addresses.

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Go to Dashboard → Billing and click "Upgrade to Pro". You'll be redirected to a secure Stripe checkout page. After payment, your plan upgrades instantly.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Go to Dashboard → Billing and click "Manage subscription". This opens the Stripe billing portal where you can cancel. You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period — no charges after that.

My profile is not showing publicly. What's wrong?

Check that your profile is set to Published. Go to Dashboard → Profile → Visibility and make sure the toggle is on. If it's published but still not showing, check that your username is set correctly.

How do I add a profile photo?

Go to Dashboard → Profile and click on the avatar area at the top. You can upload an image from your device. Photos are cropped to a circle automatically.

What links can I add?

You can add social profiles (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, GitHub) and any custom website URL. Free accounts support up to 5 links; Pro accounts have no limit.

How does the QR code work?

Every profile has a QR code that links directly to your public profile URL. You can download it from Dashboard → Overview. Visitors can scan it with any phone camera to open your profile instantly.

What does the vCard download do?

The "Save Contact" button on your public profile generates a vCard (.vcf) file. When a visitor taps it, their phone offers to save your name, email, phone, and profile URL directly to their contacts.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

On the Sign in page, click "Forgot password?" and enter your email. We'll send you a reset link. If you signed up with Google, you don't have a password — use the "Sign in with Google" button instead.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text. All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Account and click "Delete account". This permanently removes your profile, links, and all data. This action cannot be undone. If you're on Pro, cancel your subscription first via the Billing page.
