Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Profiley. These terms govern your access to and use of the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Profiley (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Profiley provides a platform for creating and sharing a public digital profile page. Users receive a unique URL at profiley.in/[username] where they can display their bio, links, and contact information. Features available depend on the plan selected (Free or Pro).
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You may not create more than one account per person.
4. Free and Pro Plans
The Free plan allows up to 5 links, 7-day analytics, a QR code, and vCard download. The Pro plan ($7/month) includes unlimited links, 90-day analytics, removal of Profiley branding, and priority support. Features are subject to change with reasonable notice.
5. Payments and Billing
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, but you may cancel at any time and retain Pro access until the end of the current period.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload or create on Profiley (profile text, photos, links). By submitting content, you grant Profiley a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and deliver that content as part of the Service. You represent that you have the right to submit all content you provide.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not use Profiley to: impersonate another person; publish false, defamatory, or misleading information; distribute spam or malware; promote illegal activity; harass or abuse others; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other accounts; scrape the platform in a way that degrades service performance; or violate any applicable law or regulation.
8. Intellectual Property
Profiley and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Profiley and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no guarantees about uptime or data preservation.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Profiley shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
